The Milky Way from my backyard in the Northern Adirondacks of Saranac, New York. Captured with my Spencer's Astro Modified Canon R6 camera on a fixed Benro Carbon Fiber Tripod. This is a single image capture through the Rokinon 14mm f2.8 lens exposed for 25 seconds. The airglow was strong and was showing up in all the images as green and yellow/orange toward the southern horizon. The green color is from oxygen atoms recombining after being split by the UV from the sunshine during the day. The orange/yellow airglow is from sodium (Na) layer emissions around 100km (62 miles) up. Processing was done in Photoshop and PixInSight. 🤩
